So anywhoz, the rules are fairly simple (unless you can't read, then that might a problem)
1) No more than 2 entries a person (that means don't go creating more accounts just to increase your chances of winning, if caught doing this, your submissions will autimaticaly be disqualified, no exceptions)
2)No flaming other deviants' work
3) NO plagiarism (this does not include quotes from other author's work, as long as the piece of writing AND the author are sited)
4) Contest will be submitetd to judging around November 15 (judging date and announcing the winners date will be announced around mid august)
5) The writing can be either poetry, short stories, OR the first 1-3 chapters of a novel (please be mindful of sexual themes, a lot of cussing, etc. If you have a lot of these things, be sure to put it on mature content)
6) HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!
Almost forgot! There will be 3 runner up prizes and one grand prize, as well as honorable mentions as they apply. Prizes are as follow
Grand: Favorite 5-15 pieces of their work (depending on how much they have on dA), an unlimited watch, comments on all of the faved pieces, as well as a feature in one of my and possibly Nuffin-Muffin0310's stories (this can be either a character you have, or yourself as a person), as well as a poem done by myself dedicated to the winner (you're able to pick the subject it's done on), and finally recommendations to all of our (nuffin and mine's) friends on dA (that's a lot)
First 3 Runner Up: Favorite 5-8 pieces of their work (depending on how much they have on dA), an unlimited watch, comments on all of the faved pieces, as well as a brand new poem I'm writing dedicated to all three runner ups
Honorable Mentions: Though they don't actually win any writing, they are mentioned with a link to their page, as well as 1-5 favorites
So that's pretty much it, remember to enjoy yourself and to try your best...
